Cookies Policy

The portal uses so-called “cookies” in several places. They serve, amongst other things, to make the portal’s offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are textual information that a website transmits to the cookie file of the browser on your computer’s hard drive or another device, so that the website may, amongst other things, remember which device has accessed it. A cookie typically includes the name of the domain from which the cookie originated, the “lifetime” of the cookie, and a value, usually a randomly generated, unique number. The portal uses the following types of cookies:

Session Cookies: These are temporarily stored cookies that remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave the website. Session cookies make it possible to identify the device during the period of use. This information will not be saved after you leave the site.

Persistent Cookies: These remain for a long time in the cookie file of your browser. The time frame involved depends on the “lifetime” of the particular cookie. After the expiration of this lifetime, the cookie deletes itself. The purpose of using these permanent cookies is to ensure the functionality of the portal (e.g. affiliate tracking in order to sustain useful coupons and offers for our users). The persistent cookies contain no personal data. Name, IP address etc. are not stored in it.

The cookies policy is part of our privacy policy.
